12 Days of Sharing Smiles

We turned the classic 12 days of Christmas into 12 days of Smile-inducing Giveaways – all focused on giving our fans something that would make them and a friend smile this holiday season.

Objective: Foster good will and brand love around the holidays. The last few years have been challenging for everyone so we wanted to create a program that gave back to our followers and helped put smiles on their faces.


Every other day throughout the month of December, we hosted a different giveaway, working with multiple partners and influencers like Jonathan Van Ness to provide 12 unique prizes and highlight our oral care products. 


We fostered new partnerships with established brands in a number of different categories from retail to food service to mental health and even pet care to lend credibility to SmileDirectClub and bring in new audiences. The program was overwhelmingly successful, receiving over 10.8M impressions and driving a 7000% increase in engagement YOY with 100% positive sentiment around this initiative.
